OS X Recovery Disk Assistant v1.0 Built right into OS X, OS X Recovery lets you repair disks or reinstall OS X without the need for a physical disc.
I wanted to do a clean install of OS X Mavericks on my 2011 Macbook Air (13 inch). I erased the Hard disk using the Recovery Utilities console. After that it hung. So I restarted the machine. However, this time, instead of going to the Recovery Utilities thing, it goes to Internet Recovery. Unfortunately, I am behind a proxy server (which cannot be configured in the Internet Recovery).
That's why I would like to create a USB Recovery Disk so I can recover from there. My only other computer is a Windows 7 PC. How can I create the OS X Recovery disk from the Windows 7 machine? (The Apple Recovery Disk Assistant seems to be a Mac-only software).
